Setting Up My New PC

I have been working on my new computer for a week now. It is not anything special really, but it is quite an upgrade from the computer that my Mom and Dad gave me while I was still in high school. Of course it is nice to be able to play modern video games, my old computer did not really have much of a video card in it. I am finally up and running. Right now I am moving stuff from the old PC to the new one. Stuff like figuring out the hotmail.com sign in and stuff like that. In all I only have about four hundred dollars in this computer. That does not include the peripherals, I did not see the point in buying a new mouse and a new monitor or a new keyboard. The mouse and keyboard would not cost me very much obviously, but that adds up. A new monitor is going to be something like two hundred dollars, so that is a big deal to me.

It was a pretty big pain to move my stuff from the old machine without having two of each, so I got my Mom to let me borrow them from her. I did it while she was away and got them back to her before she came back. So that made it a lot more convenient. It would have been too big of a pain to have done it with just one monitor and input device. Obviously you would have had to move them from one box to the other. It was not that hard, I sent myself a bunch of emails. Each one was titled so that I would know what the password and user name was for. Of course I can not find the licenses for all of my software.
